The season of thankfulness
Posted by thecanvasgrey on November 23, 2007
It is a time for thankfulness said out loud instead of silent prayer.
I’m thankful for my family, friends and love.
I’m thankful for health and happiness.
I’m thankful for a roof over my head, clothes on my back and food to sustain me and my loved ones.
I’m thankful for hot and cold running water that comes instantaneously into a warm home and electricity.
I’m thankful that there are people who service my house by taking trash to the dump or recycle for us.
I’m thankful that I live in a relatively safe location with relatively quiet neighbors.
I am thankful for transportation systems, freedom of movement and the technology that took us to the moon and made so much of our modern life possible.
I’m thankful that I know to be thankful and I know I’m here and get to enjoy this wonderful life.

Well just for the moment, I’m thankful that I’m not outside shopping with every other person on the planet!
Best wishes
